We should mention about the upset which took place in , where 12th ranked Karesi Spor (13-21) lost at home to fifteenth ranked Yalova Bld (11-23) 90-107. Yalova Bld players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American guard Markel Starks (188-91, college: Georgetown) notched 20 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and guard Onur Sonsirma (190-85, agency: 1x1 Sports) supported him with 26 points. Even a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds by forward Hazer Avci (206-87, agency: Court Side) did not help to save the game for Karesi Spor. Swingman Sezgin Eris (185-85) added 13 points and 13 assists for lost side. Four Yalova Bld and five Karesi Spor players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Yalova Bld moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Ankara DSI and Petkim.
