There was a surprise result in S'Arenal where twelfth ranked Andorra II (8-18) edged higher ranked Palma II (16-10) 97-96 on Saturday. Andorra II shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. The best player for the winners was American guard Jalen Jones (188-95, college: Texas Arlington) who scored 25 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Cinto Gabriel (199-87) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Andorra II players scored in double figures. Forward Biel Serra (192) produced 20 points and guard Joan Reda (187-94) added 19 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Andorra II moved-up to eleventh place in Group C-B, which they share with Castellbisbal. Loser Palma II keeps the fifth position with ten games lost.
