Regular Season Round 30: Lyon-Villeurbanne - Gravelines 75-78

The most exciting game of round 30 in the ProA U21 took place in Villeurbanne. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of one of their biggest challengers Lyon-Villeurbanne (18-10) to sixth ranked Gravelines (18-10) 78-75 in the game for the fourth place. It was a good game for Matthias Flosse (209-98) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Djibril Marico (196-99) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Guard Sofiane Briki (193-99, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 20 points and 7 rebounds and guard Malcolm Cazalon (198-1) added 17 points in the effort for Lyon-Villeurbanne. Four Lyon-Villeurbanne players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Gravelines have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Lyon-Villeurbanne. Gravelines is looking forward to face Nanterre (#6) at home in the next round. Lyon-Villeurbanne will play against Limoges and is hoping to win this game.
