Very important is a home loss of third ranked Dragonflies (32-26) against sixth ranked Bambitious Nara (17-41) on Wednesday night. Host Dragonflies were defeated by Bambitious Nara in a tough game in Hiroshima 65-72. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dragonflies. They outrebounded Dragonflies 42-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Joshua Dollard (203-86, college: Auburn) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) accounted for 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Guard Hiromu Kitagawa (182-91) came up with 19 points and American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks respectively for Dragonflies in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bambitious Nara maintains sixth place with 17-41 record. Dragonflies at the other side keep the third position with 26 games lost. Bambitious Nara will meet Iwate Big Bulls (#6) on the road in the next round. Dragonflies will play against Gunma and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
