Quarter-Finals Round 1: Cibona - Skrljevo 88-65

Cibona cruised past Skrljevo in the opener. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-65. Cibona dominated on the defensive end, holding KK Skrljevo to just 5 points in third quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to KK Skrljevo's 26 and made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded KK Skrljevo 39-24 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Luka Zoric (211-84) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). The former international forward Ivan Novacic (201-85, agency: XL Basketball Agency) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Cibona players scored in double figures. Forward Jasmin Perkovic (205-80) answered with 21 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Sinisa Stemberger (196-79) added 12 points and 6 assists in the effort for KK Skrljevo. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
