Second Stage Round 7: PVSK-Veolia - Szedeak 97-87

A Division top team - PVSK-Veolia (18-15) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat fifth ranked Szedeak (12-21) in Pecs 97-87. The game without a history. PVSK-Veolia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.7 percent from the field. PVSK-Veolia shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. American guard Jabril Durham (185-94, college: Arkansas) fired 27 points and 9 assists for the winners. Croatian forward Veljko Budimir (199-85) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Serbian center Nenad Sulovic (202-85, agency: BeoBasket) produced a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. PVSK-Veolia maintains first place in Division with 18-15 record. Szedeak at the other side keeps the fifth position with 21 games lost. PVSK-Veolia's next round opponent will be Atomeromu (#3) in Paks, which may be the game of the day.
