Very expected game when 9th ranked Cerrado (1-14) was defeated on the road by second ranked Sao Jose (11-3) 83-69 on Thursday. Worth to mention a great performance of center Feliciano Perez (210-90) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) and Rafael Moreira (201-91) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Sao Jose's coach Paulo Cezar Martins used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was point guard Paulo Da-Costa (191-94) with 17 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Frederico Lima (183-80) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sao Jose have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 11-3 record behind leader Corinthians. Cerrado lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 14 games lost.
