LKL top team - Zalgiris (32-4) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked P.Zvaigzdes (14-22) in Pasvalys 85-76. P.Zvaigzdes trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 24-21 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 76-85 at the end of the game. Zalgiris made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Zalgiris outrebounded P.Zvaigzdes 40-25 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Brandon Davies (208-91, college: BYU, agency: BeoBasket) notched 18 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international center Antanas Kavaliauskas (208-84, college: Texas A&M, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
