Quarter-Finals Round 1: Rustavi - Batumi 82-62

Rustavi stormed past Batumi in Game 1. The game without a history. Energy Invest led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tyrell Nelson (201, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). His fellow American import point guard Adam Blazek (185-92, college: Gannon) contributed with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Serbian center Stefan Andrejevic (206-93) answered with 22 points and 9 rebounds and Ukrainian forward Leonid Stefanishin (199-85) added 9 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Batumi. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
