Regular Season Round 31: Limoges - Lyon-Villeurbanne 66-59

There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Limoges (17-14) defeated at home 4th placed Lyon-Villeurbanne (18-11) 66-59 on Sunday. Limoges forced 20 Lyon-Villeurbanne turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Benjamin Delage (183-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points. Forward Tim Eboh (197-97) helped adding 5 points and 10 rebounds. Limoges' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side Senegalese center Khadim Sow (210-99) responded with 25 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Jules Fontaine (178-99) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals. Limoges moved-up to eighth place. Lyon-Villeurbanne lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. Limoges will face bottom-ranked Antibes (#18) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lyon-Villeurbanne will play against Monaco (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
