Bottom-ranked Betaland Cdo managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses. This time they edged eighth-ranked MIA-RO Cantu in Capo d'Orlando 71-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of MIA-RO Cantu. Turkish-German guard Engin Atsur (190-84, college: N.Carolina St., agency: BeoBasket) nailed 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American guard Nick Faust (198-93, college: Long Beach St., agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds. International forward Christian Burns (203-85, college: Thomas Jefferson) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds and American point guard Randy Culpepper (183-89, college: UTEP, agency: Inception Sports) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for MIA-RO Cantu in the defeat. Four MIA-RO Cantu players scored in double figures. Betaland Cdo maintains sixteenth place with 7-22 record. MIA-RO Cantu at the other side dropped to the seventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with Virtus Bologna. Betaland Cdo will play against higher ranked Vanoli Cremona (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
