Semi-Finals Game 1: Fukuoka Rizing - Toyotsu FE 103-95

Fukuoka Rizing topped Toyotsu FE in the semifinal opener. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 33-24 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Fukuoka Rizing outrebounded Toyotsu FE 43-27 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Toyotsu FE helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of Eric Jacobsen (208-94, college: Arizona St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Forward Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Josh Hawkinson (208-95, college: Washington St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Rodney Carney (201-84, college: Memphis) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Toyotsu FE. Four Toyotsu FE players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
