Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Desmond Simmons (198-92, college: St.Mary's, CA) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Power forward Antonio Pantin (206-88, agency: Interperformances) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Alvaro Frutos (188-87) answered with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and Venezuelan forward Luis Valera (202-88, college: UTRGV) added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Azuqueca. Four Azuqueca players scored in double figures. Azuqueca's coach Sergio Vicente tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
