Mornar Bar defeated Sutjeska for 1-0 lead. Mornar Bar players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Serbian forward Strahinja Micovic (205-92) nailed 16 points for the winning side and international point guard Derek Needham (180-90, college: Fairfield) accounted for 12 points and 5 assists. Four Mornar Bar players scored in double figures. Senegalese center Sidy Djitte (208-94, college: Clemson) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and international Nikola Pavlicevic (192-88) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Sutjeska in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
