The game without a history. Menorca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 29-of-38 free shots (76.3 percent) during the game, while Cazorla only scored six points from the stripe. They outrebounded Cazorla 42-31 including a 33-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cazorla was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Jorge Jimenez (182-81) had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Gabriel Torres (198-89) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Menorca players scored in double figures. Menorca's coach Oriol Pages felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games.
