Mersin MBK topped Edremit to sweep the semifinal series. Mersin MBK forced 21 Edremit turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American-FYR Macedonian forward Ashley Paris (191-87, college: Oklahoma) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds. Forward Asli Sevinc (178-79, agency: Fly Basketball) helped adding 15 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American center Kara Braxton (198-83, college: Georgia) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Betul Pehlivan (178-88, agency: Fly Basketball) scored 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
