Eighth-ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (9-16) gave a tough game to fifth ranked Aguilas Doradas de Durango (14-11). Aguilas Doradas de Durango managed to secure only two-point victory 81-79. However their fans expected easier game. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Will Carter (200-88, college: San Jose St., agency: HMS) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and international Irwin Avalos (201, college: Dallas Baptist) accounted for 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.
