Dinamo Tbilisi edged Kutaisi to surge ahead in the championship series. Kutaisi was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 11-point lead after three quarters before a 25-5 charge of Dinamo Tbilisi, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kutaisi to just 5 points in fourth quarter.
