Semi-Finals Game 2: Rouen - Fos-Provence 70-92

Fos-Provence rallied past Rouen to sweep the semifinal series. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Provence Basket's pressure prevailed and they won that period 26-7 extending their advantage to 22 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding SPO Rouen to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Provence Basket shot 67.3 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Provence Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by SPO Rouen's players. The former international forward Tariq Kirksay (199-79, college: Iona, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: IPFW) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Five Provence Basket players scored in double figures. Provence Basket's coach Remi Giutta felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American Amin Stevens (203-90, college: Florida A&M) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and Nigerian-British guard Obi Emegano (190-93, college: ORU) scored 18 points.
