Very significant was Indios SFM's (#2, 1-1) victory against Metros STGO (0-1) 92-86. Indios SFM dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Metros STGO's 34. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany) who helped to win the game recording 30 points. Juan Miguel Suero (198-93) contributed with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Adris De-Leon (180-84, college: E.Washington) answered with 17 points and 6 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and Victor Liz (193-86, agency: Basket Management Solutions) added 19 points in the effort for Metros STGO. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Indios SFM will have a break next round. Metros STGO will play on the road against Reales LV (#3) in La Vega and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
