Piacenza also secured promotion as they rallied past Cassino. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Roberto Maggio (183-90) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Riccardo Pederzini (200-89, agency: Players Group) contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Simone Bagnoli (205-81, agency: Interperformances) answered with 18 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian swingman Manuel Carrizo (196-80, agency: Players Group) added 5 points and 5 assists in the effort for Cassino. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
