The hosts trailed by 12 points after three quarters before their 34-20 charge, which allowed them to win the game. NW Tasmania Thunder shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Guard Mason Bragg (182-93) fired 18 points and 9 assists for the winners. Ben Richmond (194-93) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. NW Tasmania Thunder's coach Sam Armstrong used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. NW Tasmania Thunder moved-up to fifth place in League. NW Tasmania Thunder will face league's second-placed Spectres in East Burwood in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tigers will play at home against Diamond Valley Eagles and hope to win that game.
