Regular Season Round 6: KIU Titans - Our Saviour 57-53

An interesting game for KIU Titans (7-1) which hosted in Kampala one of their biggest challengers Our Saviour (6-3). Second ranked KIU Titans managed to get a 4-point victory 57-53. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Our Saviour. Forward Joseph Chuma (-91) had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Chris Omanye (183-94) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists during the contest. KIU Titans' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was guard Joseph Wacha (-91) with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Mulamba Nkumbi scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. KIU Titans have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-1 record behind leader Betway Power. Our Saviour at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with City Oilers. KIU Titans will play against Ndejje (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Our Saviour will play against UCU Canons (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
