Regular Season Round 8: Our Saviour - Betway Power 56-89

Leader Betway Power delivered the twelfth victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Our Saviour (6-7) 89-56. Betway Power dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Our Saviour's 24. They outrebounded Our Saviour 30-18 including 20 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of Geofrey Soro who helped to win the game recording 11 points and 8 rebounds and the former international forward Joseph Ikong (193-85) who added 15 points during the contest. Forward Wilberforce Pirwoth (-95) responded with 24 points and center Brian Ssentongo (-87) scored 7 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Betway Power have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 12-1 record. Our Saviour lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with seven games lost. They share the position with JKL Dolphins. Betway Power will meet Sharing Youth (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Our Saviour will play against KCC Lions (#11) and hope to secure a win.
