Regular Season Round 19: Bendigo LB - Ballarat R. 78-55

Date: July 11, 2018
No shocking result in a game in Bendigo where leader Lady Braves (18-0) smashed 7th ranked Ballarat Rush (5-13) 78-55 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Lady Braves. Ballarat Rush was better in second period 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The former international guard Kelly Wilson (170-84) fired 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Power forward Nadeen Payne (188-93, agency: LBM Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Taiwanese center Hsi-Le Bao (196-90) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and American guard Courtney Walker (173-94, college: Texas A&M) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lady Braves maintains first place in League with 18-0 record. Loser Ballarat Rush keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost. Lady Braves will face league's second-placed Spectres in East Burwood in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ballarat Rush will play on the road against Diamond Valley Eagles (#3) in Greensborough and hope to win that game.
