The game between Top Four teams took place in Oruro. 4th ranked host Carl A-Z (2-2) lost to top-ranked Calero (4-0) 116-106. Calero dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Carl A-Z's 46. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American swingman Mike Liabo (198-91, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds. The former international forward Cristhian Camargo (194-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Liabo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Calero's coach Giovanny Vargas used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Scheraun King (196-87, college: Albany St.) replied with 35 points (!!!) and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Khapri Alston (196, college: Midwestern St.) added 28 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Carl A-Z. Five Calero and four Carl A-Z players scored in double figures. Calero have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Carl A-Z at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost.
