There was no surprise when 13th ranked LKS Lodz 2 (1-6) lost to sixth ranked Ksiezak (5-2) in Lowicz 72-83 on Wednesday. Ksiezak made 31-of-41 free shots (75.6 percent) during the game, while LKS Lodz 2 only scored nine points from the stripe. They outrebounded LKS Lodz 2 55-24 including a 23-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for center Mateusz Fatz (205-1996) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Mateusz Kasinski (203-1987) accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Five Ksiezak players scored in double figures. Jan Bosowicz (198-2004) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Kacper Koc (187-2004) added 19 points respectively for LKS Lodz 2 in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ksiezak moved-up to third place, which they share with 7 other teams. LKS Lodz 2 lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourteenth position with six games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Ksiezak will meet at home Pabianice (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LKS Lodz 2 will play against TKM Wloclawek (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
