Amyntas' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after five consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they edged much higher ranked Eleftheroupoli (3-3) 88-85. They outrebounded Eleftheroupoli 36-22 including 28 on the defensive glass. Amyntas players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Swingman Joe Gatzo (199-1998) scored 23 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Andriano Topalis (190-1994) chipped in 14 points, 11 assists and 4 steals during the contest.
