Regular Season Round 7: SISU - Falcon 56-63
Date: November 13, 2022
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Copenhagen: Falcon (#1) and SISU (#5). SISU was defeated at home 56-63 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Falcon forced 21 SISU turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Nikoline Sandback (170-2001) who led the winners and scored 14 points. Guard Taylor Gleason (173-1995, college: Oakland) accounted for 12 points for the winning side. Gleason is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Josefine Haabegaard (180-1999) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and Emilie Ravn (176-2000) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for SISU in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Falcon (7-0) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 7 victories in a row. SISU at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Falcon will play against league's second-placed Herlev on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play against Aabyhoj and hopes to get finally their first victory.
