Dnipro dominated on the defensive end, holding Veneto-Cherkasy to just 7 points in second and third quarters. Dnipro forced 19 Veneto-Cherkasy turnovers. Dnipro's coach Alexander Cherednichenko used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
