Everything went according to plan when second ranked Rasta Vechta (8-1) beat at home 5th ranked Lions (5-4) 102-86 on Saturday. Rasta Vechta made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was Joel-Sadu Aminu (192-1997) who scored 23 points. American guard Siler Schneider (191-1995, college: UC Davis, agency: One Motive Sports) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. Schneider is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Rasta Vechta's coach Ty Harrelson used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Lovell Cabbil (188-1997, college: Liberty) who recorded 25 points and 4 assists and Croatian-Bosnian Ivan Karacic (204-1996) added 24 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Rasta Vechta keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Tuebingen.
