Very predictable result when second ranked Livorno Libertas (8-1) defeated on the road 14th ranked Oleggio (2-7) 69-62 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Francesco Fratto (199-1991) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. The former international power forward Tommaso Fantoni (206-1985, agency: Players Group) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Four Livorno Libertas players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Swiss Olivier Giacomelli (198-1995) who recorded 17 points and 6 rebounds and guard Matteo Maruca (185-1997) added 16 points respectively. Oleggio's coach Gianni Nava rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Livorno Libertas.
