Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked La Matanza (4-3) outleveled on the road 13th ranked BT Madrid (1-6) 92-62 on Saturday. La Matanza forced 28 BT Madrid turnovers. Argentinian point guard Gaston Zalazar (190-1996) stepped up and scored 16 points, 9 assists and 9 steals for the winners and Sal Ramos chipped in 19 points. Four La Matanza players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Hugo Perez (-2004) with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Tiago Teixeira (-2004) scored 6 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. La Matanza moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 10 other teams. BT Madrid lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost.
