There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Lumezzane V. (4-4) edged at home 4th placed Desio (6-3) 74-71 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was naturalized Dominican guard Daniel Perez (185-1997) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Edoardo Maresca (198-1998, agency: SLN) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Four Lumezzane V. players scored in double figures. Lumezzane V.'s coach Fabio Saputo used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
