Regular Season Round 6: M.Ramat Gan - M.Haifa 94-78

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ramat Hen. Third ranked M.Ramat Gan faced 4th ranked M.Haifa. Host M.Ramat Gan (5-1) defeated guests from Haifa (3-3) 94-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of M.Haifa. They outrebounded M.Haifa 44-32 including 33 on the defensive glass. M.Ramat Gan shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Brittany Brown (173-1995, college: FSU) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import center Jillian Alleyne (190-1994, college: Oregon, agency: LBM Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Kenyan-Canadian power forward Adut Bulgak (193-1992, college: FSU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and American point guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-1990, college: SDSU) added 15 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. M.Ramat Gan have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with E.Ramla. M.Haifa at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. M.Ramat Gan is looking forward to face H.Rishon LZ (#7) in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round where they are favorite. M.Haifa will play at home against H.Petah Tikva and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
