Very expected game when 13th ranked Berck (3-10) was smashed on the road by ninth ranked Poitiers (6-7) 90-56 on Friday. Poitiers made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Poitiers outrebounded Berck 35-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American swingman Marcus Relphorde (198-1988, college: Colorado) nailed 18 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Ivorian center Bali Coulibaly (199-1995, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Poitiers players scored in double figures. Point guard Alexandre Moisy (175-1995) came up with 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Cameroonian forward Arthur Ekani (199-1988) added 12 points respectively for Berck in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Poitiers moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Berck lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost. They share it with Pole France and Boulogne. Poitiers will meet at home CFBB (#13) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
