Seventh ranked Kipina (5-4) beat at home 8th ranked Kouvot Ak. (4-5) by 13 points 105-92, which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Kipina. Kouvot Ak. managed to win fourth quarter 40-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Daniel Rantapaju (182-2004) who recorded 31 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Teemu Kristeri (195-2002) added 18 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Kipina moved-up to sixth place, which they share with ToPo Juniorit. Loser Kouvot Ak. keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Kipina will meet Kristika Turku (#10) in the next round. Kouvot Ak. will play against HNMKY in Helsinki and hope to secure a win.
