There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Vilkaviskis (7-11) was rolled over at home by tenth ranked Kretinga (7-11) 86-56 on Thursday. Kretinga dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Vilkaviskis' 24. Kretinga forced 20 Vilkaviskis turnovers and had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Martynas Mazeika (193-1985, agency: Interperformances) fired 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Center Rytis Zabita (199-1994) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Kretinga players scored in double figures.
