Very important is a road loss of third ranked Inter Bratislava (8-6) against sixth ranked Iskra Svit (6-6) on Wednesday night. Visiting Inter Bratislava was defeated by Iskra Svit in a tough game in Svit 88-96. Iskra Svit shot 62.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. American point guard Tavon King (180-1997, college: Cumberland) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 8 assists. The other American import center Hayden Koval (216-1997, college: Cincinnati) contributed with 19 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Lithuanian center Tomas Zdanavicius (203-1996) replied with 26 points and 7 rebounds and American swingman JP Moorman II (201-1998, college: UC Riverside, agency: Players Group) added 24 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Inter Bratislava. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Iskra Svit moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Komarno. Inter Bratislava lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the third position with six games lost. Iskra Svit will play against Komarno (#4) at home in the next round. Inter Bratislava will play against the league's leader Spisski Rytieri in Nova Ves and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
