Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Ludwigsburg (2-9) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Loewen (5-6) 74-69 on Sunday. Loewen forced 19 Ludwigsburg turnovers. The best player for the winners was Ivorian-French Guy Landry Edi (198-1988, college: Gonzaga) who scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American Tyseem Lyles (185-1992, college: Mercy) chipped in 20 points. Point guard Johannes Patrick (183-2001) produced 19 points and 8 assists and Dutch Emmanuel Ugbo (201-2003) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ludwigsburg's coach Kheeryoung Rhee rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Loewen moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Ludwigsburg keeps the thirteenth position with nine games lost.
