Very predictable result when first ranked Saarlouis (14-2) won against at home 10th ranked Tuebingen 2 (6-9) 97-82 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Saarlouis. Tuebingen 2 managed to win second period 28-25. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Saarlouis shot 60.3 percent from the field. Saarlouis outrebounded Tuebingen 2 41-28 including a 33-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American center Jordan Camper (203, college: Lincoln, PA) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Ricky Easterling (189-1983, college: Bridgewater) accounted for 17 points and 6 assists for the winning side. Four Saarlouis players scored in double figures. Joshua Schwaibold came up with 23 points and 6 rebounds and Estonian Gerrit Lehe (198-2005) added 14 points respectively for Tuebingen 2 in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Saarlouis. They maintain first place with 14-2 record. Tuebingen 2 lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
