Winner League top team - Maccabi Tel-Aviv (11-2) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat seventh ranked Hapoel Haifa (5-7) in Tel Aviv 108-104. Maccabi Tel-Aviv made 27-of-31 free shots (87.1 percent) during the game. Maccabi Tel-Aviv outrebounded Hapoel Haifa 50-34 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. Guard Jalen Adams (191-1995, college: UConn) nailed 26 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Bonzie Colson Jr (198-1996, college: Notre Dame) accounted for 25 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Maccabi Tel-Aviv's coach Oded Kattash used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Anthony Hickey (180-1992, college: OK State) came up with 30 points, 9 assists and 5 steals and guard Kadeem Allen (187-1993, college: Arizona) added 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Hapoel Haifa in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Maccabi Tel-Aviv have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-2 record. Hapoel Haifa lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost.
