Regular Season Round 11: Kolossos HH - Lavrio 90-87

Very expected game when 11th ranked Lavrio (2-9) was edged by seventh ranked Kolossos HH (6-5) in Rodou 90-87 on Sunday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Dimitris Katsivelis (195-1991) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American forward Chris Coffey (201-1997, college: Georgetown, KY, agency: One Motive Sports) accounted for 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. American guard RJ Cole (185-1999, college: UConn) came up with 27 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Guyanese center Cyril Langevine (203-1998, college: URI, agency: BeoBasket) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Lavrio in the defeat. Five Kolossos HH and four Lavrio players scored in double figures. Lavrio's coach Christos Serellis let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kolossos HH have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Aris and AEK. Loser Lavrio keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Kolossos HH will meet at home Ionikos (#9) in the next round. Lavrio will play against Promitheas in Patras and hope to secure a win.
