No shocking result in a game when second ranked E.Ramla (8-3) defeated at home 8th ranked Hertzliya (3-8) 75-62. They outrebounded Hertzliya 48-32 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. E.Ramla players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for American forward Shakira Austin (196-1999, college: Ole Miss, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Slovakian Nikola Dudasova (177-1995) contributed with 11 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. E.Ramla's coach Shira Haelion allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Breanna Richardson (185-1995, college: MSU) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and Nigerian-American guard Promise Amukamara (173-1993, college: Arizona St.) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Hertzliya. Defending champion maintains second position with 8-3 record having five points less than leader M.Ashdod. Hertzliya lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with eight games lost. E.Ramla will play against M.Haifa (#6) on the road in the next round. Hertzliya will play against Ramat Hasharon and hopes to get back on the winning track.
