Everything could happen in Kaunas at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Patriotes and 10th ranked VK-Kamane had identical 1-10 record. This time Patriotes used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Vilnius 93-52 on Wednesday night. Patriotes dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to VK-Kamane's 18 and made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Patriotes forced 22 VK-Kamane turnovers and outrebounded them 49-32 including 37 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by VK-Kamane's players. The winners were led by point guard Jurgita Segzdaite (165-1989) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals and center Gabriele Valaityte (180-1989) supported her with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Patriotes players scored in double figures. Patriotes' coach Andrius Vaicekauskas felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 21 points and 9 rebounds by point guard Olga Fomina (164-1989) did not help to save the game for VK-Kamane. Forward Ieva Garnyte (175-1992) added 15 points and 5 rebounds. Patriotes maintains eleventh position with 2-10 record. VK-Kamane lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth place with 11 games lost.
