Very important is a road loss of third ranked Besiktas (11-6) against sixth ranked Turk Telekom (8-9) on Sunday night. Visiting Besiktas was defeated by Turk Telekom in a tough game in Ankara 83-87. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Besiktas. The best player for the winners was center Arda Ozdogan (202-2005) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Erim Lif (-2005) chipped in 28 points. Turk Telekom's coach Murat Oney used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Ege Borcali (-2005) produced 27 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and Ahmet Ozbek (-2005) added 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Four Besiktas players scored in double figures. Turk Telekom moved-up to fifth place, which they share with TED Ankara. Loser Besiktas keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Galatasaray and Gelisim Koleji. Turk Telekom will meet league's second-placed Darussafaka in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Besiktas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Anadolu Efes.
