We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Paderborn where 11th ranked Uni Baskets (10-12) were defeated by twelfth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (10-12) 79-66 on Saturday. American forward Khalid Thomas (208, college: Portland St.) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Adrian Breitlauch (193-1993) chipped in 16 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Marten Linssen (203-1998, college: St.Louis) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and Oshane Drews (198-2001) scored 11 points. Uni Baskets' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Paderborn and Kirchheim.
