Very predictable result when second ranked Maroussi (12-6) won against 10th ranked Ermis S. (8-8) in Athens 86-75 on Thursday. Maroussi forced 22 Ermis S. turnovers. Point guard Orfeas Stasinos (183-1988) notched 21 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and British guard Spyridon Kapsalos (188-2000) supported him with 21 points and 5 rebounds. Four Maroussi players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds by power forward Ioannis Mexis (201-1995) did not help to save the game for Ermis S.. Guard Alexis Kyritsis (198-1982) added 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Maroussi maintains second position with 12-6 record behind leader Panerythraikos. Newly promoted Ermis S. keeps the tenth place with eight games lost.
