Regular Season Round 19: Murgi - Eurogaza 64-60

There was an upset when 4th placed Eurogaza (10-7) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Murgi (5-11) 64-60 on Sunday. Angel Rubino (-2000) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Cristian Ramon (197-1992) chipped in 17 points. Murgi's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. French Hugo Cluysen (203-1998, college: NAIT) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and guard Antonio Canales (183-1996) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Murgi moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Marbella. Eurogaza lost fourth consecutive game. Eurogaza at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Alcala and Infante. Murgi will meet league's second-placed La Zubia on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eurogaza will play against Benahavis and hope to secure a win.
