Fourteenth-ranked H.Ramat Gan (4-18) made lots of trouble for second ranked E.Netanya (17-7). E.Netanya managed to secure only two-point victory 76-74. However their fans expected much easier game. E.Netanya made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. E.Netanya outrebounded H.Ramat Gan 45-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Ethan Butler (190-2002) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Swingman Dori Sahar (195-2001, agency: Avi Zilberman) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. E.Netanya's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Lamonte Bearden (191-1995, college: WKU) replied with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import Storm Warren (211-1988, college: LSU) added 12 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for H.Ramat Gan. Four E.Netanya and five H.Ramat Gan players scored in double figures. E.Netanya have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 17-7 record having just two point less than leader H.Afula. H.Ramat Gan at the other side stay at the bottom place with 18 games lost. E.Netanya will play against I.Nahariya (#5) on the road in the next round. H.Ramat Gan will play against M.Ramat Gan (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
